Proposed title and subtitles where necessary of Design Context publication/website/dvd.

How effective is minimalistic design? What are it limitations with regards to clients and people often questioning is it creative? How do audiences understand that simple design is clearer and more effective than unnecessary imagery that make the message more complex?

A simple design of the book using my experimental format interests to make the book more interactive and playful

Proposed content of Design Context publication/website/dvd.
A study into when we saw simple design beginning to become more powerful element of design. When Paul Rand quotes “Less is more” at what point did designers understand the sophistication of this?
Questioning however the limitations with clients and weather they think that it is creative enough?
Is minimalistic simple design creative? Do people see it as unconsidered as it hasn’t got imagery or decorative aspects? Is the message clear and simple rather within minimalistic design rather than decorated with unnecessary imagery making the message complicated?

At what point is there a limitation? And at what point does it become to simple it is not effective?
